me and mrs do the odd quiz in local pub.It allways includes an audio theme on CD. Sometimes music intros, tv theme tunes, film sound bites etc. Need something a bit different to listen to, any ideas or web sites I have not tried. Thanks.

Sorry if you've already done this but what about ad music, judging by some of the questions on AB ppl are always wanting to know the music from them.

I once did a round where I played snatches of (fairly obscure) cover versions of well-known songs. The question for each was 'Who sang the original?' but I also gave bonus points for who was performing the cover versions. It seemed to go down well...
What about songs with colours in them,ie Red Red Wine, Blue Suede Shoes, Green green grass of home, Whiter shade of paleetc

I have also been to a quiz whr=er animals was the connection - eg Daydrean Believer (bluebird), Hungry like the Wolf, Parklife (dog)etc
Although not music a well received audio round, I've done a comedy round where I played a comedy sketch and then asked questions about it afterwards. people can have a laugh at the time but then have try to answer some questions later. A 5 minute sketch is all you'd need. Someone like Bob Newhart, Jasper Carrott, Harry Enfield is usually good.
