I don't know how long you've been a member brian, but this sub-section was only recently created, and before that all crossword Qs and As were to be found in the P and Q section. That's why the longer-standing members still use Q &P. A crossword is still a puzzle, so it is merely a matter of choice.

Heather - if you click on Topics, you will find that most subjects have sub-sections. Under Quizzes and Puzzles there is crosswords and also riddles

brian I have answered you under my own Question but totally agree with the comment made by geo 0939.we are perfectly happy posting under the old system.you will see that not many crossword postings are in sub section compared to main heading.I personally only use sub sections if it is totally necessary.
