OK now down to business, and not what I'd call one of our better weeks, in fact the last combination, Brown Belt had no takers at all.

slaney was definitely the HOT SHOT of the week, taking bonus points for both Plum Duff and Beef Wellington [ do I detect a preoccupation with food there ??]
and hot on the heels came freebi2 with Emerald Green.

After the early excitement, things got a bit Ho Hum as it were, with patches of brilliance with two matches each from Alibobs, Dinkypuzzled, rogerr, devadiva, masterchef & Muzz

Quite a number were on the right track with Beef Wellington, earning themselves a point and are on the score sheet for the new month, and then quite a few of us need to take stock and prepare for next weekends onslaught.

Very well done to the points scorers, keep up the good work and good luck to us all next time.......S

thanks steff, no need to apologise as I have been at work all morning. Just Cycled home in the most dreadful July weather, Hail, Thunder the lot . Nice and dry now will have a go at the crossword.
