Desert Islands Discs
13 Answers
Does anyone know where I can find very old lists of guests on Desert Island Discs?
I need to find out what records were chosen by Johnny Speight and Geoffrey Boycott.
This is for the July PCP quiz.
Thanks in advance.

The only problem is that there is supposed to be a common piece of music/record chosen by Speight, Boycott & Frost. According to the BBC Frost chose:-
Mad Dogs & englishmen, (Coward), Your song (John), Fix You (Cold Play), America the Beautiful (Charles), Music of the Night (Crawford), Elusive Butterfly (Lind), Long & Winding Road (Beatles) and the Dam Busters (Liverpool Philharmonic). Unless of course Frost has appeared twice on the programme..........

In answer to Sillymoo, yes I have Roy Plomley's book Desert Island Discs which covers the period up to 25 june 1983. To boaw the common choice is My Way. Speight and Boycott opted for Sinatra, Frost for Sammy Davis Junior in an extended episode on Christmas Day 1971 in which he was allowed to choose 15 records
