It's "a cappella" rather than a "cappella" and its a song sung without instruments.
Isn' it called 'Acappella' - which is when you sing without any music in the background

ahhh that's what confused me! Because i am musical myself - however did think it was acappella - which is what through me obviously!

Its not a 'capella', its a cappella:

A cappella music is vocal music or singing without instrumental accompaniment, or a piece intended to be performed in this way.
