During the silage season a farmer has 25 bales stacked in the first field, 20 in the second, and 15 in the third How many would he have if he combined them all in one field?
you don't combine silage!! You cut it, dry it a bit then bale it. If it gets quite dry you can call it haylage then sell it for more money. If it gets drier still, you've got hay. At no point does it go near a combine.
But 60 would seem reasonable.
Where does it say HE silaged .It was during the silage season .He has a number of bales in his field and if he had combined he would have had none .That would be my reading of the this question .
Thank you for your answers ,the answer they were looking for was ONE giant Bale as the Farmer was combining them all in one big Bale, a bit of a daft question and answer really,.It was supposed to be a play on words!!
