I am very upset that there is such a site because I feel that it takes all the fun out of doing the crossword. I get settled in my dining room on Sundays and I get my thesaurus, dictionary and gen knowledge book out and I really work hard to do this crossword. If I finish it, I send it in. If I don't, ces la vie. I cannot see the point in doing it any more.

pamnez, I sympathise, but I do as you do (and rope in the wife as well - especially for the soaps). I also Google for answers but if I can't find anything, I resort to the site mentioned. I keep AB for difficult cryptic crosswords.
Also, if I've had a particularly busy weekend, I might look at the site for most of the answers - shoot me down in flames!

I think most of us on here do try and do it ourselves if we get stuck we submit a question and the experts give us their knowledge, its the sence of achievement we get when you do it by yourself a great feeling , if others wish to cheat thats up to them but they will not feel as good as us! will they?
