One or two people have had a badly printed last sheet. If this is the case for anyone else...PLEASE e-mail me on [email protected] and I will send you a copy of the last page. I hope it doesn't affect many. I have double checked them all since.
Also, as you are doing the Quiz, read Crofters notes at the start, a pattern for the answers does develop!!
Good Luck...and a very sincere thank you for the terrific response so far. You are all brilliant! This is the first time Crofter and I have combined forces to do this, he of course is the brains behind it all!! ..Thanks again!..Pauline x

I haven't got very far yet but am wondering if you will be accepting alternative spellings as there is more than one way of spelling the answer to number 8. Also, should the second word of number 81 have five letters?
I hope you don't mind me asking and I'm sorry if it sounds as if I'm nitpicking.

I am very pleased to hear that the Quiz is proving enjoyable. This is my first "serious" Quiz and it is difficult to judge the standard!
Pauline does not have the solutions, but I can confirm:
Q8 DOES have two possible spellings and EITHER is acceptable.
Q81 should read (4,5) and not (4,6)!
Sorry! Put that down to inexperience, although the final copy WAS checked several times.

Hello Crofter (Krophta)
Thank you for the quiz, and the corrections to the numbers of letters. I hadn't noticed that they were incorrect!!
However, I have found it difficult, in that there appears to be eleven occupations, which would make only nine items for one of the other categories. The doubtful one could be No. 22, if it were to be taken as a proper noun.
Your 'veiled' comments would be appreciated.

I have just had confirmation from crofter - there is an error in the typing of question 82. It should read:
82. City in which to bare no issue however complicated (6,5)
crofter also confirms that an alternative spelling will be accepted for Qu 81.
You can either use an old (17th Cent.) spelling of the Yorkshire reference to get the modern spelling of the answer, or
