odd one out and connection quiz

Is anybody else struggling with this quiz .I have managed to do two but i think this is one quiz i am going to have to admit defeat to because my mind is a complete blank.

I just can't get my brain into gear to work out the odd ones out or the connections perhaps it is just me being thick.

I've done 4 now and three quarters of another and and idea on one of the others but it is beyond me.
Which 2 have you done

some of what I have done - dont want to spoil if others are finding it easier than us but have spent ages and still dont see it
Question 1 need 1B (cant decided about 1d but son is home for weekend so will ask him) - not a clue on odd one out but maybe getting 1b will help
3 dont know who 3c is but know others and so he is odd one out whoever he is
done 8 9 12
13 I dont know who 13a is but have done others and the connection
and apart from a few other pictures thats it
if you've done 6 can you tell me what the logo is

but cannot find 5d as yet - any offers?

Found it! Got all 4 now, but no idea which is the odd one out. Will plod on.

Can see quiz abandonment coming up - a bit TOO difficult this one, don't you think?

I am disappointed in the pictures. They are not clear enough. The quality is poor.

Wouldnt mind crest 5c if you have it - was just about to tell you 5d

I think the pictures are clear enough its just that they can be so many things
6 for example
top, spinning top, toy? and likewise rest of 6

Dear all,

Gosh, I am surprised that you are finding it difficult and feel I must apologise. Sorry.

I was convinced that this would just be a bit of fun for you all as I thought up most of it while sitting on the checkout at Tesco. I always struggle to solve the cryptic quizzes set by eg Children of Fiji and Lincs and Notts ambulance - they are what I call difficult ! and I rarely finish them all.

The answers are really quite simple once you make the connection, none of them are what I would call obscure ie �all of their great uncles had a dog called Brian�. In several cases if you google the names of the personalities in the group you should get the answer. The non-personalities are basically say what you see, don�t try to go too deep into what else they could be, though 15d is representative of a feeling rather than literal.

I hope this helps without any real clues given away and good luck to you all.

I cant say I agree thought that once you get the pictures you get the answer to the link as I googled names together for some of the ones I have got and had to dig a lot deeper than that
As long as you raise lots of money thats all that matters

for 6 it was a top ,,thumbs up ,cat , bottom , thumbs down , and a dog i just thought they were opposites.

I just did 15 thanks to the hint that said the answer to 15d was what describes the picture and not what the pictures is
