Welcome to Title Builder Beta.

This small piece of kit is designed to make building your Quiz, Crossword or Puzzle question more effective. It should make finding your question easier for others and, the easier it is to find, the more likely someone is to answer it!

To build an easy to find question title simply select the paper and quiz, enter the quiz number if relevant and fill in the Publication Date. Once you’re happy click “Build Title” and the information should populate the Title field. Fill in the final required details of your question as you normally would, and click submit.

As this is a Beta we only have a limited number of papers and quizzes listed. If you think your favourite Quiz, Crossword or Puzzle should be listed here don’t hesitate to contact us.

Remember: You do not have to use the title builder - simply enter the title and question as you normally would and click submit!

Wondered how everyone was getting on this week, and how this one rates on a scale of 1-10 for difficulty. I'm not asking for answers (just to get that clear!). My grid is about half full. Like the general theme and have identified just over half of the 13 clues (I think). Will get stuck soon, no doubt!

One of the "easier" ones I would say in that I've completed it in less than a day ! There are a couple of answers of which I am unsure though. Once you see the author's name then the quote becomes easier to identify ...but you do need a dictionary of quotations.

I agree with Ulysses - harder to start than to finish (if that makes sense).

Have so far found it easier to start than to progress. Just because I know what to do with the clues does not mean I have the author or quote yet, which may or may not become clearer to me with perseverence! Oh well, 99% perspiration.

I lied about the quotation ...it is to be found in Chambers after all.

I found it slow starting ~ when is a definition NOT the right definition? Like all EVs it gets easier as it begins to unfold.

On a scale of 1 to 10, I found it about a 6.

I wondered why my name was always green, Crofter!

Went for a walk, came back (long summer hols!) and looked again - think I have the author now. There are so many quotes by this person, deciding which will be an arduous task. Happy days.
