Thank you for your best wishes k. I am now into day 13 of my paroxysmal coughing bouts, but as of yesterday morning they are becoming less violent. I have had my first REM sleep in a fortnight which means that I should get some recuperative sleep, and feel less shattered and exhausted. I hope that I have turned that proverbial corner......
