What sweets would make up your ideal pick n mix??
Mine would have to be pink pigs and those gorgeous pink and blue fizzy bottles that you get, what are they called??? They are just TOO gorgeous!!!

Mmm shrimps n banana thingies, they are NICE!!! Them round chocolate footballs covered in foil are nice aswel!!

..I used to work in Wolies and often re filled the pick n mix...jeeze it really stank when you opened the massive 2kilo bags, especially the fizzy ones...still Ididn't let it put me off...

...I being a traditionalist/ boring like fudge, the purple Roses, chocolate covered mint creams, mini eggs , sherbet lemons and at easter those little diddy cream eggs...

...I think the blue and pink bottles were called "sour bottles"....

ermintrude35, what has happened to fudge?? It used to be the most divine tasting thing ever but now its horrible its not even the same texture it used to be!! they dont make them like they used to!!

..I agree taliesin...it's all soft and gooey..it's meant to be crumbely...what me and my co workers realised was if you dig deep into the bottom of the fudge you get some that have probably been there for quite some time....this was indeed harder and crumblier...trust me I'm an expert.... however some chains of woolies now have the Candy King pick n mix and their unwrapped fudge has passed the Ermintrude test...it's divine...

Oooooh, its gotta be shrimps, chocolate covered bananas (don't see them very often anymore!), jelly babies, white mice, the little pink mushrooms, mini eggs, milk bottles and the good ol' cola bottle! I may have to pop to the shop after work...
