I'm trying to compile a list of 10 singers or groups from Sheffield for a quiz. Can anyone help? So far I have: Human League, Def Leppard, Joe Cocker, Pulp, ABC, Moloko and Heaven 17. So as you see, I need just 3 more. Thanks!

Nah, they're from Hull, though that is East Yorkshire these days! Have got 10 now anyway though they're a little more obscure than I would have liked.

Moloko??? I thought that was a duo and the female singer Roisin Murphy is from Ireland....so does that count?

To sft42 :Well, Moloko may be a tenuous link to Sheffield, but I read on a BBC website that the founder members originated the group there so I can probably get away with it. After all, not all the above artists were necessarily born in Sheffield, they may have just started up there.
