bibster for 2, 6 I have Rawtenstall, thought it went more with the 'selling' part of the question but Badbury is good too.
Someone else said Murray Walker for 3, 10 - I have David Coleman. 4, 4 is Queen and I go with who ever said Solar Stone for 4, 12 but there were a few others so it wasn't easy.

bibster don't forget the clue 2,4 says Dark STREAM - is a pool a stream? I think BlackBURN is better as burn is another word for stream. Hope you don't mind my pointing that out.

thank you i didn't like Blackpool but had completly forgotten about Blackburn. I think i have a cousin lives there .
