BF Drink/ Drugs/ Lying Etc...

Hi, I wonder if anyone can offer any advice. I'm not sure if I'm overreacting or not. I been with my boyfriend for 2 years. He has always done this and I don't think he will ever change. Every 3 months he decides to disappear. He will go out about 3 or 4 nights over 2 weeks and get out his face on drink and coke. He never answers his phone, he lies about going out, he never tells me hes going out, he sometimes don't come home. We live together and its getting too much. I know most people will say leave him etc. Thing is we get on really well when hes normal. He just does this every few months. Every time I find him in the same pub. Always does coke EVERYTIME he goes out and he wonders why I hate him going out. He played cricket Sunday and even done it then when he went pub after. He told me he was going home (hes staying at his nans and me at mine for a month until our new house is ready!) and told me to call him at 6. I do so and no answer. I drive to pub pub and low and behold hes there wit his stupid coke head mates. We are moving to a different area next month, not too far from our current area but he reckons it will all change and he won't do it again. Blah Blah! I love him to bits and I want him to sort it out cos I hate drugs, why does he need to do it everytime he goes to a pub?? He says I over react and hes not cheating and not hurting anyone its only at the pub "with the boys". But hes hurting me. I've told him over and over and he still does it. He ends up not going to work sometimes cos he comes in so late if atall. Just wondered what other peoples views were and if I seem to nag and moan or if I'm ryt to. Thanks, I'm not looking forward to the answers I don't think as it makes him sound worse than he is when people don't know how geeky/ funny he is at home with me!!!
I never go out and don't have many friends as I have lost touch with them. Hes knows this, do I play him at his own game or is it not worth it or would it make it worse????

I know what you mean when you say this makes him sound even worse than he is. And I bet he is goofy and fun with you! I dont really know what to say...but you should really just tell him "listen, I love you to death, but i cannot handle when you do that! It scares me and it makes me really upset. Drugs are not the answer to life, can you please try to work something out with me here where we both feel confertable?" You should try something along those lines...good luck!
