OH, Also what about personal member pages?

Also, how about allowing each member to create their own personal "about me" page which can be activated through a link via their AB name?
They can put the question topics they specialise in their preference, previous AB names and a little AB history about themselves.
Not only would this cut fraud, but it would make theanswerbank a lot more personal and friendly.
Thanks again

why, exactly? I know dot.hawkes is good with genealogy issues, but it makes no difference; if I ask a genealogy question I just hope anyone looking at that section will be able to give an answer.
As for cutting fraud, it will just mean endless lists of fake biographies of various whiffeys, which seems to me like increasing fraud. You can't trust anything on the internet. The more detail there is, the more there is not to trust. I already know more about VINNY than any human being can stand.

yo (:O)
Just found this site a few days ago...i think Ghosts suggestion is a good one...would at least be good to know the gender of posters and their location...also member since etc.
One thing i think would help...is when people post questions for PC related problems that they give OS info and specs of the machine...could there not be a few lines of text asking peeps to do this before they click on submit...it would cut down the guess work and having to ask them to post it.
Oh and why when i subscribe to threads i never get emails telling me they have been updated? something i've missed perhaps!
