Paddy = tantrum

anagtam of truant
Might start off = M (first letter)
I think the s may be wrong...tantrum (paddy) anag of m (start of might) + truant

Thanks a million. I had never heard of Paddy meaning Tantrum, but I see it now in the dictionary.
My clue down is obviously wrong -so I need your help again !!
The clue is
GET THE BETTER OF BY ARRANGING TO OUST THE SMALLER MARKET (8)
I had OUTCLASS which is now obviously wrong.
The letters now are O - - - - A S T

I ahd another one across wrong - the S should be a T
Answer should be O - - - - A R T and is obviously OUTSMART.
