Does anyone play online poker?

I'm looking for another on line poker site to use. I've tried two now and found them both very annoying, as if it was somehow set up. The last one I tried the other night I lost on the last card between 8 and 10 times out of four games. I've never experienced such a thing when playing for real. So if anyone out there is on a site that they find good to play on could they let me know, thanks.

PKR is really good. but its not web based. you download it and you can play with people around the world. you can either play for real money or fake money. the graphics arent bad either. type PKR in google and you should find it.

Bots are computer programs which play on behalf of people. However, pokerbots are not that sophisticated at the moment and can be beaten by an above average player.

Right, I thought maybe it was the poker companies putting in players to catch cards against you so as to fix the game. Hopefully they're not doing that although sopmetimes I wonder.

I don�t believe there�s anything dodgy going on. I�ve played at 3 sites, Pacific, Paradise and Party. Paradise is my favourite.
If you play for small stakes at any of those you�ll find some tables where most of the players see the flop with any old crap and stay in until the river and try to outdraw you. Pacific I found to be the most extreme in that way.
If you don�t believe me, take a pack of cards and keep dealing out 10 hands, so that most of the players stay in till the river. How often does your pair of Aces win? Very rarely is the answer!

In that type of game, I�ve found it pays to back-pedal with a high pocket pair and be more inclined to go for the nut flush particularly by playing any suited Ace and raising.
