KM Links Game - October week 1

Good morning all, and a special hello to Aquagility whom I understand has succumbed to something nasty and will be out of action for a while.

This is of course the start of a new month's Competition, and with AQ on the sick list, we'll wait with interest to see who actually posts the link words for this weekend.

Hopefully somebody will, or this could be very boring - no, I'll be optimistic !!

The words will be posted along with the poster's own selection, then we all have a shot at predicting Kate's link words which will appear in the Monday Herculis.

Just a reminder that in this Game, there are no restrictions on letter numbers [ within reason, of course ] and the comp. stays open until the links are posted on
Monday morning.

I realise that the preamble for this weekend is a little staid - very unlike me, I know, but a short while ago I found and reread the suggested format for this opening thread and it's so far removed from that which I 'rabbit' on with each week, I thought I'd better pull my head in a bit and at least outline what should be happening - believe me, it won't last - in fact, I can feel it slipping away even as I type !!!
