Still early in the morning, I know, but as I'm here, will do it anyway.

Now with Aquagility confined to his sick bed [ but hopefully on the mend ] we'll be relying on another of our trusty 'early risers' to post this morning's link words, and then I'll get to work with the worry beads and get back with the scores as soon as possible.

There's been a terrific turn-out for the beginning of a new month, so hope there's lots of points to go with it.

what happened with the South Africa v Fiji rugby match ?? I gather from your post, Pauline, that Scotland went down to Argentina, but I've yet to turn on radio etc to get final results

according to the papers yesterday we are going to hit the 70 degree mark by Thursday! get the summer gear out again! It is dull and damp at the moment though.
I am at work at 12 noon

Good morning Steff, barterboy and all my many well-wishers. Bless you , one and all.

No points, of course. But then, I did not expect any.

I am up but not out. Still alive and kicking, Steff, tho' I won't enlarge on that.

Perhaps sarumite is recovering from the fact that he scored two correct matches and a total of 4 points after being in the first cluster to predict Chantilly Lace, along with slaney & bridgenut then followed up with Siren Song.

jan1956 picked up the next match with Young Offender and JimJools rounded out the bonus point winers with Snow Plough

JRB & Elspeth scored 3 points each for three good guesses, and cpfcrosiel, paulineward, Christiana, roslyn251254,merched, LaneyB, twosearch, Dee Sa, MeadowLane, gen2, joto, eccles & keyboardix all scored two points each.

Then came rather a lot of us each with one point, mostly for being Big Bopper fans [ and if not, well we know one of his hits !!]

So a good start to the new month, and while it's early days on the leader board, sarumite is on top with four points followed by JRB & Elspeth and we'll all be back again next weekend to do it all again.

Good to hear you're up and about, AQ, take care of yourself and don't do anything I wouldn't !!!

Wow ... apologies for not being around when needed Steff, had a lie-in this morning after a busy weekend!

Now why on earth would I mention the RUGBY, did we win, surely we didn't beat Australia!!!?

What a weekend, even the cricketers won in Sri Lanka ... and now I find myself on top of the leader board ... it's just too much to take in ... may have to go back to bed!!! (S)
