Hi gordgo
I'm from a big family and every time we get together we do this quiz. so easy minimal preparation and al ages enjoy it.
tear paper into strips 1" x 3" approx as many as you like and give handful to each person. They write a name o somone alive, dead or imaginary eg cartoon characters.
each person folds them covering up the name an they all go into a large container.
Divide into teams
One person pulls out a slip of paper and tries to give clues to the name to his team. They have 30 secs to identify as many people as possible. If they answer it then they keep the slip of paper. If they can't answer it it goes back in the box.
Then it moves on to the next team.
The team that has the most slips when the questions run out is the winner.
It's good fun watching Granny trying to identify or give clues Amy Winehouse or the young ones Tommy Trinder. Even the toddlers get a chance with the cartoon characters
We have been doing it for a good few years at every family gatherin an it goes down a storm
