Re Cransley Occupation Mistakes !

To whom it may concern ...
I can assure you that I compile the quizzes with the best of intentions and I like to think that my efforts go in some way, albeit small, to the continued running of my local hospice.
Yes, there were two mistakes and for that, and only that I appologise. Once I realised I did my upmost to let everyone know, post, e-mail, verbal, and posting here on AB.
Nobody could have been more annoyed than myself as the quiz was checked several times.
I am sure you will come across this time and time again as I do with other quizzes. I'm sure if you are a regular quizzer this is not the first and will certainly not be the last time mistakes will be made. All compilers, national or local do not do this deliberately.

I could tell you what to do with your bright orange daglo thick marker pen and your caustic remark but I am too polite, and anyway, I don't want to be banned for being abusive.

To all my other AB friends, the response so far has been
fantastic. Have marked over 100 returns and loads more to do tonight. Don't forget the closing date is extended to 20th Oct due to the strikes so hopefully you should all make it in time. xx

I think that your quizzes are brilliant. Keep up the good work. I,ve made lots of quizzes and also made lots of mistakes. As you say to err is human. I am sure that your local hospice are very grateful to you lol Anne

I admit I was quiet upset when I posted this. I enjoy setting them almost as much as entering others. The fun is in marking your delightful returns. The banter and little comments if you like a question or think it's devious all add to the fun.
I hope I have not missed out on any of yours jodder ?
Yes, Diane, I know which is yours and no, the compliments will not work ... lol ... Did I mention that I have purchased a new super duper red pen just for you and jessiedog.

Don't let them upset you EK, you do a great job with your quizzes and if we were all perfect it would be a really boring world, wouldn't it?
I remember the first quiz I set for 'Children in Need', I repeated the same question twice in the quiz and despite numerous attempts at proof reading, completely missed it. It was funny to see all the attemps at trying to come up with alternative answers to the same question !!
Keep up the good work and I look forward to receiving my entry back, hopefully without lots of your red pen all over it.

Earthkitten sorry didn't do this quiz as I was getting a bit bogged down at the time, but don't let anyone upset you. You are raising money for charity and that's the important thing. It's easy enough,if you think there is a mistake, to ask on this site and we all know that even if we check things over again we can still miss mistakes.

Nobody is perfect, some people just like to think they are. I enjoyed this quiz and I noted from this site the two mistakes which you had innocently made and obviously did your best to rectify. Keep up the good work.
