KM Links Game - October week 3

Goodness, another month is flying by - only one more weekend after this before a winner is crowned and quite a cluster there is at the top of the leader board.

As always, we're attempting [ !! ] to match Kate Mepham's choices for this weekend and the whole thing will be underway shortly when one of the reliably early risers posts the link words along with their own selection.
Then we all get to pile in with our own ideas and there's been some very inventive answers among them too.

Come Monday morning and the game closes when the second batch are posted and then yours truly has to get off her butt and do some work !! - it's all been play up till then !!

Just some info. for any newcomers - there's no limit to the length of each word and all and sundry are more than welcome to take part - joining the Friday night Saturnalia in the shrubbery is not essential, but may get you into the right mood for a really good weekend !!
