Another cracker this week! Some lovely clues, my favourite is 21A.

It occurs to me that those who object to answering on this site may be concerned that their ability to solve without assistance is being devalued because many more people can now offer solutions. (Personally, I think that would be a short-sighted view.)

Well, how about they try to compile such a crossword? Now there's a real challenge that will confirm their prowess. I am pretty good at solving, but I couldn't set one as good as this (or even a lesser one) - not in a million years.

do not have a clue what you're all on about ..... yet. But I'm working on it! Hello everyone, hope the clocks going back has not left you too depressed. At least the dark nights give more of an excuse to curl up with a nice crossword.
