This is my last question from a quiz done to raise money for my grandsons local football club..I've done lots of Googling but to no avail, so hoped someone might just know the answer.

Where did Notts County play their home games at the start of season 2002/03?

I thought they were playing at there own ground Meadow Lane, Can't remember them playing anywhere else during that time, but may be wrong, if not hope somebody else can help you, good luck, Ray

Thanks for your response raysparx1, I can't see any reference to it at all. I assumed there was perhaps a temporary problem with the ground.

Thats interesting badlad, I had read that site but to be honest I'd lost the will !!! before getting to that paragraph (not my most favourite subject and I'd answered 99 others),,,Thanks for that I think you could be right.....c

Er yes, but having read that it seems to make it clear that by the time the season started the ground was once again known as Meadow Lane?

You are right Catron, I should have read it a bit slower. it was only called that during the break. not during any season.

have spoke to club shop employee a few minutes ago and he said that home matches 2003/2004 where played at meadow lane and nowhere else hope that helps

Ah well, I guess that 'The Aaron Scargill Stadium' must be what the compiler wants as the answer, even if it does not seem quite right!
