I read on anoter thread that 39 could be BILLBOARD. Apparently a billboard is part of a ship.

I had starboard but think billboard is better
I also had hatch but swapped it to draft - bet I will regret that

39. Hi Audrey - I would go with squarebear's suggestion:
Billboard . . . . a ledge on the bow of a ship on which the bill of an anchor rests when the anchor is secured to the cathead.
