Have only started this last week - probably too late, but still need 6 answers or clues: 32: Greek character carried in a heavy beast ..... (5) 76: Played by a real swank, ..... (7,6,4) 81: It's for the better that the man in charge admits... (6) 84: .....and for the money, pounds are converted..... (11) 91: Peculiar present in piece I leave for the Pope. (6,5) 92: Cash and Carry accepts counterfeit money. (5)
Hope you can help. I'm sending it in anyway, with an inflated cheque, as my daughter is seriously disabled with MS, so we regularly collect for the local group and it's so good that the Rainbow quiz is giving the profits to it this time. Thanks in advance
I feel 81 ought to be casino - for the better / gambler .... CO (man in charge / commanding officer) but there should be some indication of ' a sin' ie admits a crime, adultery or whatever.
Likewise 84 ... pounds are converted suggests an anagram but there aren't enough letters.....
