Pardon my ignorance, but further to a recent posting, why can't the boat race take place on a Tuesday.

It can take place on a Tuesday but it hasn't done as of yet. The question was on which day hasn't it taken place.

It will probably be always on a Saturday/Sunday now to get the most publicity.
