Welcome to Title Builder Beta.

This small piece of kit is designed to make building your Quiz, Crossword or Puzzle question more effective. It should make finding your question easier for others and, the easier it is to find, the more likely someone is to answer it!

To build an easy to find question title simply select the paper and quiz, enter the quiz number if relevant and fill in the Publication Date. Once you’re happy click “Build Title” and the information should populate the Title field. Fill in the final required details of your question as you normally would, and click submit.

As this is a Beta we only have a limited number of papers and quizzes listed. If you think your favourite Quiz, Crossword or Puzzle should be listed here don’t hesitate to contact us.

Remember: You do not have to use the title builder - simply enter the title and question as you normally would and click submit!

I believe there may be an error in the number of letters given in this clue ....

Letter X (second clue)
US edentates such as anteaters, sloths and armadillos

I think it is 9 letters, not 8 letters as given in the clue.

My ppurpose in posting was to 'warn' others that there seems to be a mistake.

I am working to fit in the same answer as cruciverbali has given .... (though I thought it was far too early to give answers?)

if you work out the number of 8 letter and 9 letter answer-word spaces in the two grids

compare with ...

the numberof 8 letter and 9 letter answers per the clues ....

there is a discrepancy.

I have raised the issue with then!!

Thank you for the warning taize ... whilst I am normally an early starter with this puzzle, I have not yet had chance to look at it.

The two grids add to the interest, and are very similar to the December generalist in 2006.
