Last one 127a A weaver's implement for separating warp threads and positioning the weft. -E-D. I'm tempted to put HEDD but I can find no authority for this abbreviation.

127a Reed
thank you icarus,we think you are correct as a heddle seams to be a term in weaving
reed
n a tall stiff hard-culmed marsh or water grass of various kinds, esp Phragmites australis; a thing made, or formerly made, of a reed or reeds, eg a pen, an arrow, a measuring rod, a music pipe, the vibrating tongue of an organ-pipe or woodwind instrument (with or without the parts to which it is attached), a weaver's appliance for separating the warp threads and beating up the weft; (Chambers).
Chambers has for 'reed':-

"...a weaver's appliance for separating the warp threads and beating up the weft"
Question Author
Well, the Chambers definition seems conclusive so I'll go with that. Thanks to all.
