Thank you for your answers, and a Happy New Year to you all.
Tony, for no 69 (big owl) I've found a bird in my dictionary called a caracara, meaning a carrion diurnal bird of prey- would value your input as to whether you think this is the correct answer please.
Hi again poodle
Youre answer for 69 CARACARA seems tobe one word consisting of eight letters. The numbers in brackets seem to show two words of four letters each. Maybe I am wrong.
So glad you,re both still online, as question is now well down the page. At least I've been able to check new answers on Google today-yesterday was so unbelievably slow I gave up. Result-I'm going with your answer Santan. Any luck with nos 96 &99 yet?
hi tony
98. i found a site that named brain diseases and VOGT-VOGT syndrome was listed and was the only double word so i am opting for that.
84. i have seen tom tom posted .the pipers son stole a pig??
like you I still have the other 3 not answered.
To Poodledoo and Santan,
I reckon 96 is Richard Richard as Richie Richard is Rik Mayall's charcater in "Bottom". What do either of you have for "He proved costly for kiss"? I'm not actually doing the quiz but I enjoy problem solving and browsing this site.
novalis
the answer that has been given for 'he proved costly for a kiss' is tom tom (the pipers son) but i can't see it .
thank,s for your suggestion of richard richard,it does sound like an option.
I'm off for the night now.
all have a good new year.
