I would just like to say thank you to; paulineward, shaneystar2 and ensajo.... for their kind contributions to Chatterbank this evening.
If any of you other clever folks over here wish to put your thoughts into prose I would love to hear from you....

Miss Random thank you so much for your praise for my verse. I am certainly not a very good "quizzer", rubbish at cryptic clues so don't usually do crosswords, I just tend to do fairly easy charity quizzes but it keeps me occupied!!
I enjoyed meeting a new group of people tonight but now ,in the words of Zebedee "It's time for bed" Goodnight and Happy New Year to everyone

Miss Random...am so sorry I only just got to see this thread! I got caught up in a game of cluedo with family!! a planned night in...contrary to my usual behaviour on New Years Eve....I assure you!!...then I got hijacked by neighbours! They dragged me over to let New Year in, but their 13 year old son had got to the drink and threw up just at 5 minutes to midnight!!

I have now just finished making chips for a hungry bunch!!

But thank you so much for our invite over to your merry crowd tonight! I enjoyed the banter.
