Don't forget to get your New Year off to a flying start and keep up with your charity quizes!!
I know that a lot of people work hard giving their time compiling and running these, and you are all so good in supporting them.
Hope you have all got this one....

Another 8 weeks eh??? Bring it on!!
I think when I took some of the cheques in this week from the people on here, who I so admire and care for, the sheer gratitude of the staff.....I wish I could have bottled and sent you all.
I have letters of receipt and thanks which I have tried my best to let people have access to.
You can always mail me on [email protected] for copies.
The Nurse who runs the Unit was telling me how they used some of the 'lights' money to take some critically ill children to see the Manchester Lights (something they couldn't have done without this money) and only today had received a text from a parent wanting to thank the strangers who had made her sons Christmas.
Puts it all in perspective eh..he probably won't be here much longer.
Now I do not want to spread doom and gloom ...and let's keep a happy environment here...but what is a quiz site without quizes...and why should only the 'papers' benefit?
Please support ALL charity quizes...they are fun and are all doing a wonderful job from supporting scout groups, churches, minor and major charities. They also take some organising...so I for one apologise to no one...and thank the Ed and members on here for their support!!
Love Pauline x

I think the bottom line is that many of us are so grateful that our kids are ok and "there but for the grace of God" we could be in the position of many parents with children that have illnesses that can only be helped rather than cured.
Pauline is doing the best she can for those children and should be supported --or ignored if you think that way--but don't keep having a go at her please.
