Are there any more clues.

There is nothing that I can see that links them.

Name of grounds, nicknames, etc etc.

You say it is part of a local quiz...is there a theme perhaps.

Any other clues would be appreciated.

someone a few days ago said that the number of letters is always the same i.e. port vale (4,4)? aston villa (5,5)
