Do you have to give up something if you are not a christian?
I don't toss mine because my kitchen ceiling stains very easily.

I'm giving up beans for Lent. :)

I absolutely love pancakes and so does my little boy. I am a pretty darn god cook but cannot for the life of me make pancakes. I hate buying ready made too.

no but its a good excuse to do something you
have always wanted to do without for 40 days

It's not compulsory, Caz, and you don't have to be Christian to give up something. I think I shall give up chocolate.
Hmm i think i'll give up housework,
But i'll have to wait for mrs logic to do the pancakes.
I will be having pancakes. I am not very fond of them but will be making loads for the family.

And as for Lent, I don't wanna give up anything...
Food?! Drink?! Sex?! No way!!

I had planned to give up RedBull but at the moment I'm not sure I'd last very long.
Sooo think it will be chocolate, I think I should be able to stick with it!!

And I am planning on making some very nice boozy pancakes :o)
I think I'll go round to me mums for pancakes. She makes the best. She does savoury and sweet. Yummm!

I don't need to give up anything.

I don't know how people can drink Redbull. The smell of it makes me heave. Sorry Misty! Lol ;-)
I'm having it as a non -pancake day as I have pancakes for breakfast often .
As for lent , as a child I used to give up sweets , to the dislike of my siblings because I just saved them all up and had a lot of sweets at the end .
I lve alone, so not worth the touble,
But if anyone in surrey want's a hand with theirs, ,I'm freee.
I will be making pancakes at work tomorrow...and I will make sure I get my fair share (1 for the cook.....1 for everyone else........1 for the cook...1 for every one else..........). As for lent-I gave up chocolate for New Years...I think that is enough sacrifice for one year!!! lol
