Question 65 any clues about the poet who wrote about the English victory

Search for famous English poets and there are only a few who fit the category timeline and I looked through their works for a victory poem and then googled a first line. Convoluted question but not as bad as the name spelled backwards.

I have looked to see what answer you gave for this question and I have followed what you advised and googled first the likely poets in that era and then I get stuck. I just cannot find a 16th/17th poet who wrote of an English victory. I am completely stumped.
