As deadline approaches I struggle - still a dozen to go - late night ahead. Anyone offer clues for the following:
13. Just as 'occiput' means the back of the human skull, what eight-letter word, derived from Latin meaning 'half head', means the front of the human skull?
21. In the 1855 classification of Bordeaux wines, only one great sweet white wine was classified as a Grand Cru. From which chateau?
52. An extinct hominid of the species Homo erectus is also known by a twelve-letter word which is derived from Latin meaning 'Chinese' and Greek meaning 'person'. What is that word?
107. In yoga, what five-letter word, derived from Sanskrit and literally meaning 'breathing out', is applied to the technique of breath control which aids self-awareness and meditation, etc.?

These four have been driving me mad & I'm no nearer an answer.
Now on with the rest!

Thanks Slaney - what a star! Only 7 to go now.
Had prana but thought it meant life force -think I'll just have to go with it.
1855, 21 of the best sweet wines from Bordeaux were classified as Grand Crus Classs in a separate list. In the original classification, 9 wines (primarily from the Sauternes and Barsac regions) were classed as Premier Cru, while 11 were assigned the lower (though still prestigious) rank of Deuxime Cru (Second Growth). One wine (Chteau d'Yquem) was considered so great it was granted a special Premier Cru Suprieur classification.

Well yes sodemall. If you can't beat them join them
Tut! Tut! Slaney. wanderwot was asking for clues not for someone to cast the answers around like confetti.(although it saves some effort!!)
Many Quizmailers have worked hard to find the answers and certainly in my case have been fortunate to find them . to then find the answers posted comes as a bit of a let down. I have been helped by your input over time and I thought you usually just offered clues.
I do apologise....it was late at night , and a fairly lengthy text,..I just skimmed straight to the questions and answered without seeing the request for clues.
