Could it be something LIKE a football team where the strips have 2, 3, 4 ........11 but not 1 (goalkeeper) ?
- 'never a single one' does not discount a double one.

The other suggestion my son came up with was a countdown (as in space shuttle) as they dont normally say 1
Not sure which to go for but no doubt will decide just before I hand it in
