Camera angles when filming
8 Answers
Is there a technical name for the type of camera angle/technique when the shot is solely on one person, as if the camera is fixed to their waist/chest and constantly films their face? This technique has been used in several TV ads and music videos especially but I am having trouble describing and articulating it for a piece of work. Any ideas?

I don't think its a tracking shot. If you look here you will find a comprehensive list of film terms and examples

if you can be bothered through it all to look that is.
I was a bit premature in scrapping the steadicam. I would describe it as an actor-focused steadicam shot.
