On 25 February 2008 you posted "new quiz available" for East Anglian Air Ambulance Musicals quiz, closing date 1 May
I posted off the 1 coin requested with sae on 1 March but have heard nothing since. Am I being too impatient or has "something unforeseen" occured?
Would love to know.
Thanks

No problem getting mine within a week so looks a bit suspect.
Hi gingerbread! Sorry, not been on line for a while so only just seen your message. All the quiz requests I receive are posted back the same day!!! Not sure if this will help but a couple of weeks ago I had some mail which needed excess payment on it - i.e the sender had not put the correct postage on it - and unfortunately I always send these back as it's usually junk mail. Just wondering now if it was yours. Did you check the postage, as some people are wrapping the coins up in packaging which is making it too bulky for a first class stamp!! Other than that then I'm afraid I don't know!!! Everyone else seems to have got theirs!!

Hello Jayhow.
Thanks for your reply.
I sent 1 coin as reguested, wrapped it in a tissue and put it into the SAE in the hope that the Royal Mail machine would not chew it out of the envelope. Perhaps, as you suggest, the total package was too fat for the postage I put on it!!
So I have lost 1 and two stamps and your quiz has lost 1.
But I really hope that your quiz is a big financial success, minus my contribution!!

Hi again gingerbread. Just to let you know that I went into post office today to ask what happens to refused mail. Apparently it goes back to main depot and is then sorted out - i.e they open the mail and return it to the sender if poss. This should mean that you'll get yours back if this is the case!! Sorry if this has caused a problem and I hope it hasn't stopped you from taking part in another quiz.
