Harpy (normally relates to women)
Oops ... before any of you ladies take exception to my comment above, that's not my view, it's from the dictionary!
Before the (justifiable) complaints come in - the 'normally relates to women' comment is because the Harpies in Greek mythology were all female - quite how they reproduced is never gone into, I believe. One might surmise that a distinguishing term is not required for men, either because none of them are (unlikely) or because being grasping and/or unpleasant is seen as part of the male condition!
