At Blooming Last!

My son (10) has at last made a snowman and made a snow angel when we had enough snow yesterday for the first time in his life! Previously we managed a measley snowball fight from a tiny sprinkle of snow scraped off the car.
Hope you all had a lovely day - it was great here we went out on the forest in the middle of nowhere no-one else around and made a 6 foot snowman, drank hot chocolate , had a snowball fight, got very cold and wet went home and all snuggled in front of the fire and had 'boily' eggs for tea!!! Perfect Day.

We had 'real' snow about 18 months ago, all the local schools were closed so all the kids were out playing in it from 8am :) I wont normally let my 2 out till afternoon but I was scared it'd be gone by then lol I managed to refrain from playing out till after 9 myself but I just had to get out there & show the kids how it was done ;oP I couldn't believe it that none of them knew about rolling the snow to make a snowman :( & half of em hadn't heard of a snow angel!!

We didn't get that much yesterday here in brum but there was enough for them to spend a couple of hours snowball fighting.

Hello Hellyon , what a lovely day that sounded , that's one huge snowman ! I like the last bit , the hot chocolate in the warmth of the house the best ;-) xxx
