MM and KM Links April 2008 [Week 2]

Good Evening AB Linkers, everywhere!

Welcome to this second week in the reign of Lady Lysander, who has another exciting game lined up for you tomorrow. I can guarantee this week's links will be bigger and better than last week's, when one piece of the jigsaw didn't quite fall into place and the gremlins took over.

It's still early days yet and Slaney O'Hotshot has a slender lead over the chasing pack with everything to play for! The posting should open at 8.45am and the four words to be linked should be declared at 9.00am tomorrow, when MM Links kicks off in earnest.

Also look out for the international version of this same game (called KM Links) which has been designed for "Insomniacs Anonymous" and kicks off at the unearthly hour of about 06.30am! Keeping the rabble in check will be seekeerz (who's very big down under) and hails all the way from Oz to collate the entries and keep score. Why not chance your arm at both Link Games?

This week I have been beginning to put the final touches to the Dragonfly Quiz III entitled "The Games People Play"! It should be ready to roll out at the beginning of May (if all goes according to plan). However, few games are more fun than MM and KM Links, so why not join us?

Thank your lucky stars she's half a world away and ten hours ahead of us, so possibly/probably asleep.It gives you a chance to make good your getaway and improbable excuses!
BUT after she has woken up, fed the nags and mucked them out and fired up her computer, make sure, crofter, you have your asbestos underwear on!

Hi all!...and Crofter...wait until seekeerz sees that!! She'll play games with you!!

Kay (evsajo) is at her daughter's this weekend and she has telephoned me totally distraught this afternoon...as their internet is out of action!! She will not be able to get on line to join us...so we will have to manage without her!

I am going to text her the links in the morning...so if Lady Lysander would like to let us have them a little earlier...she can always mail me!!! :-))

Yup, Pauline, I reckon after seekeerz has read all this, crofter might find it a little uncomfortable riding cross-saddle with the East Kent or the Ashford Valley. Side-saddle might suit better and who, better, than seekeerz to educate him in that elegant art whilst he recuperates. (Not that unusual surprisingly, a man riding side-saddle, my wife's grandmother could remember a gent, having lost the bottom half of his right leg in the Great War, who hunted thus with the Ashford Valley).
Ooh, I am going to try to wake really early tomorrow to see the first edition of the Adelaide Post :-))))

No, Jan, we haven't "been and gone" just lurking, camouflaged, in the undergrowth in case we get tarred with crofter's brush and some form of female dingo tries to find us!!
