tv advert from the 80s

can anyone tell me what this ad is.

baby on a sofa, picture on the wall and a plant in the background.

as advert progresses baby gradually turns into an old man using stop start type photography, plant gets bigger, room gets grubby.

at end of advert old man dissapears and picture falls off the wall.

there`s a kind of dum dee dum guitar tune playing throughout, does anyone remember this ad and what it`s for, it`s a tough one and it`s doing my head in...thanks
