road insurance - car accident 2005 ?

in 2005 . i lent my car to someone , who was nt covered todrive the vehicle , on muy insurance ..... he had an accident , with another motorist in an lhd vehicle
(which is irrevalent really ) ..... the damage on my car , is about �175 cosmetic..... i have not hd any repairs done yet #9accident in 2005 )... ihave the name and adress of the motorist in the "LHD CAR" ..... can i have the repairs done , and send him the bill the motorist of the other car , i know his address and i know he lives there , (my car is POLO right hand drv- irrevalent ) .... i want to clam of the driber of the other CAr , remeber - the LHD vehicle, i have not intention , of putting a claim ,in against the person I lent , my - POLO to ...... i was the registered keeper , of my POLO , on 2005 , and i still am......... ? County court summons is what iam considering , any replie s ?

First of all, I think that was a stupid thing to do but its not up to me to condem people, Your best ave here is to pay for the Damage yourself, 2nd the damage caused to the other car lies with you for allowing the uninsured person to drive your car, there is every chance the other person will claim off you.

3 years ago... why didnt i sort it out then ... ? ? , in my opinion , he damage , is a dent about the samr dimension as a thumb nail.... this car in four years time will be worth less than �400 - ......... the owner of the other car....... a LHD car ,,,,, is more obssesive from what i hera about his vehicle its a 25 yr old amercan CHEV - CAMARO in good nick - ,,,,,,,,,,,,,, well wothin the next few weeks , he is going to recieve ..... a county court summons, for which I have not had to pay any court fees ( fee exemption - i was apply to apply for )...... Ive just returned from cvounty court office this morning........ - Monday 21 - Apr...... ( 3 years.... whats another year )..

I don't know how serious you are about this, but just in case.... If you go to court about some damage in a minor incident and say that you lent your car to somebody who wasn't insured, they'll very likely arrest you. Permitting somebody to drive without insurance is an offence, and you willin all probability, be prosecuted. I think that the Police may also have the right to take the car away from you. Think very carefully about this.

SANJAYPEA ....fao Sanjaypea,...all replies to thiis Q, i appreciate....... regarding any action the "police might take against me "....well as i specified on the Q, the accident happened in 2005 , so the police would have difficulty ,in processing a "MOTORIN GOFFENCE " against me , because more than six months have passed.... and any any action i instigate , is COUNTY COURT PROCEDURE .............not quasi-criminal - MAGISTRATES .thanks for replies ..........
