right, i know next to nothing about gardening (my place is inside!) and mr ed has recently been ripping apart our manky garden and making it all lovely and contemporary ready for those summer bbqs :)

what plants are relatively easy to look after and look nice and modern? i hope that makes sense! i was thinking along the lines of alliums, palms, grasses, planters, flax...but i need more blocks of floral colour! any suggestions or links to helpful websites appreciated as i've bought a few magazines and they weren't much use to me :(
