Crosswords in Newspapers
8 Answers
I do the crosswords in The Mail on Sunday, Sunday Express Magazine etc, The big Monday Crossword in the Express, what other crosswords similar to these are there, I enjoy general knowledge and cryptic, what other papers have prize crosswords, I think the Monday Express crossword is very good but it comes too soon after the Sunday ones, a middle of the week crossword would be welcome.

The Telegraph has a good quality GK prize crossword on Saturdays, with similar but smaller puzzles on Sundays and Mondays. There is also a prize cryptic crossword on Saturdays and on Sundays.
Throughout the week there is a decent cryptic puzzle, but these are not prize crosswords.

Hi Mary T.
I like to do the saturday Times Jumbo crossword.
there are two crosswords using the same grid.
One is the cryptic and the other is called the Times 2.
I suggest you try these. I stick the crossword in my copier and print off two copies of the grid before I start trying to solve both of them.
Good luck baitress
