Acetone

A + CE + ton +E (not sure where the E comes from though)
Are you sure the clue didn't say euros?

CE = Church (of) England
ton = 100 (eg. doing the ton)

I've checked the clue and it says auras. Perhaps it is a misprint and it should read euros, as you think. Either way, it seems a strange one.

Thanks
