I'm almost afraid to ask in case I get shouted at, Oh go on I'm a big boy. Has anyone any assistance for Q106 "The seven letter name of the people and their language, who inhabit a large Asian country consisting of many islands, a name which translates as "native river""
I'd be very grateful!

I press the 2 key as if it's a capital and there I go. Answer solved. And I'm sorry but I do Quizmail without asking for help and don't give any either. There aren't THAT many countries in Asia to look at each one in wikipaedia which is what I use a lot. The Brewers Dictionary of names is very useful too.

The answer is TAGALOG
The word Tagalog derived from tag-log, from tag- meaning "native of" and log meaning "river
and the only reason I have posted is due to people complaining.

Oh, but I do give advice for some crosswords/quizzes but not ones that I'm entering like Quizmail, GBQ and GFQ. I don't understand why your keyboard doesn't work like mine. I don't even know what all the talk about browser means. That's what I am at the Library when I look up my answers!
If you google countries of asia wiki, all the countries are displayed alphabetically and most can be ruled out as they are obviously landmass.
