Welcome to Title Builder Beta.

This small piece of kit is designed to make building your Quiz, Crossword or Puzzle question more effective. It should make finding your question easier for others and, the easier it is to find, the more likely someone is to answer it!

To build an easy to find question title simply select the paper and quiz, enter the quiz number if relevant and fill in the Publication Date. Once you’re happy click “Build Title” and the information should populate the Title field. Fill in the final required details of your question as you normally would, and click submit.

As this is a Beta we only have a limited number of papers and quizzes listed. If you think your favourite Quiz, Crossword or Puzzle should be listed here don’t hesitate to contact us.

Remember: You do not have to use the title builder - simply enter the title and question as you normally would and click submit!

I am stuck on 12) flags one stands up for. 33) Time for tea? What a marvel. 39) as women do, one arranged some flowers. 74) oddly plain as linens-but they are used in bed. 80) sweetheart of masked clown appears like a dove. Have read previous clues but can anyone help please?

74) The word 'oddly' tells you to take the odd letters as far as the dash to get the name of a flower usually found in a flower bed.

thank you for the help and clues. i have done a few quizes in the past and have read comments on the answerbank. there seems to be a bit of animosity over help and clues and that is why i have not asked for help in the past. I might not be good at cryptic clues, but i do it for the charity and the sadistic pleasure of mental torture. I enjoy the quiz after a days work. Takes my mind off all the troubles of the day.

samson1 i see nothing wrong in coming on here and asking for help as often a fresh pair of eyes can see the answer that youve been staring at for hours. to me its no different in asking a mate or often in my case my mum for help, and my mum in turn often asks me for help with crosswords.
